Alzheimers Damage Can Be Stopped

Alzheimers Damage Can Be Stopped

Dr Stengler

Was dementia just cured&by accident? This might be the Holy Grail of senior health. There are older folks out there right now with ALL the markings of Alzheimers disease in the brain. By every possible standard, they shouldnt even know their own names anymore. They SHOULD be in the final stages of dementia. But theyre NOT! A stunning new study is rewriting the book on Alzheimers, showing how you can have the damage in your brain& but still live a long and healthy life with no sign of the disease. In fact, the seniors in this study were actually sharper than folks decades younger. In the new study, researchers examined the brains of eight deceased people who had lived into their 90s all of whom had aced memory tests and done well on other thinking tests. They wanted to know how someone could live to nearly 100 with no damage in the brain. But when they actually saw those brains, they were stunned that only TWO of them looked healthy! Four of them had mild signs of dementia, and two others looked like full-blown Alzheimers cases yet all of the patients had passed those cognitive tests. Heck, they didnt just pass those tests. They had the results youd expect to see in a 50-year-old rather than a 90-year-old. Obviously, as this study shows, its possible to stay sharp long after the damage of dementia appears in the brain. And if these folks did it, you can too. You might be doing it already without realizing it! For example, we know from studies that metals play a major role in Alzheimers, and removing those metals can often slow, stop, or reverse the disease even AFTER the damage has begun. Ive seen it happen right here at the Stengler Center after giving patients detoxifying chelation therapy. I dont know if any of the folks in the new study had chelation at any point. But I do know this: There are other ways to remove metals, and some folks do them by accident. The bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum found in many fermented foods can bind to the metal cadmium, which has been linked to Alzheimers, and pull it out of the blood. Chlorella, a freshwater algae thats increasingly popular as a supplement, is also a powerful natural detoxifier that can help pull heavy metals out of your body. Since metals can also play a role in other chronic health problems, consider getting yourself tested. You might be surprised at how much is inside you right now! I find many people have much higher levels than they should and if youre in the San Diego area, I can run those tests right here at the Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine and see if chelation is right for you.
